It all started with some lines I typed on Facebook while in the AYE jam in August.
I’m stuck in the AYE jam everyday after work. Usually I read The New York Times on my phone. Sometimes I just stare out of the window. Every couple of minutes, I check Facebook.
Then came that day in August. The AYE jam was especially bad. I saw a Facebook status update about the same jam and decided to join in. Only that in my boredom, the lines grew and became a poem of sorts. I posted it, and to my surprise, my friends liked it. So I thought that it would be a neat way to keep up with my stagnated writing, NaNoWriMo and all.
Writing on the daily 1.5 hour journey home, using my phone.
Part of the inspiration is from Alain de Botton’s The Art of Travel, a philosophical reflection on travel.
The Bus Series.
Let’s see where this will go!
